Barış Çavuşoğlu (b. 1994) works across sculpture and moving image, constructing worlds that are precise in their nature and intuitive in their logic.

Çavuşoğlu holds an MFA in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts and a BSc in Computer Science with Games Technology from City, University of London. They have directed for Adult Swim, their animation work has been presented at Annecy International Animation Film Festival, REDCAT in Los Angeles, OVNi Festival, and Dutch Design Week, among other venues and screening programmes.

Solo exhibitions include zzz at Pluto, Valencia (2026); evim yuva at BENTA, Istanbul (2025); RTV-2 HRPgül at The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul (2024); and Hit Me Baby One More Time at Barın Han, Istanbul (2022). Group exhibitions include 260 Madison, New York (2026), and Mythologies for a Spiritually Void Time at Offline Gallery, New York (2025). They also presented #SLIPGNOSIS with Kid Xanthrax at BSMNT, Leipzig (2021).

Çavuşoğlu is based in Istanbul, where they founded benta in 2024, an independent art space with a programme of exhibitions, performance, and screenings.
